About the Resilient Organizations Fund
Resilient nonprofits are characterized by strong leadership and management. Strategic leadership guides the organization, while management systems ensure that things move forward. These two equally important components help lay the foundation for a sustainable organization – one that is able navigate change and achieve long-term impact.
The Resilient Organizations Fund was established by the Blue Cross and Blue Shield of Minnesota Foundation to provide capacity building support to their grantee organizations, helping them tap into and enhance their own powers of resiliency.

Blue Cross and Blue Shield of Minnesota Foundation
The purpose of Blue Cross and Blue Shield of Minnesota Foundation is to look beyond health care today for ideas that create healthier communities tomorrow. Fieldstone Alliance
The mission of Fieldstone Alliance is to strengthen the performance of the nonprofit sector. Using its unique set of proven knowledge resources, Fieldstone Alliance helps strengthen the nonprofit sector by working to effectively change practices and measurably improve results. Four product lines – consulting, training, publishing, and research and demonstration projects – together strengthen leadership, enhance organizational performance, increase foundation effectiveness, and build the capacity of networks and intermediaries that support the nonprofit sector. Each year we assist over 100 nonprofit foundations, organizations, networks and intermediaries, train several thousand nonprofit and philanthropic leaders, and distribute over 40,000 publications in 70 countries.
Nonprofits Assistance Fund
Nonprofits Assistance Fund’s mission is to foster community development and vitality by building financially healthy nonprofit organizations. The organization is a national pioneer in the area of lending to nonprofits and is a premier financial management resource for the nonprofit community. As a Community Development Financial Institution (CDFI), Nonprofits Assistance Fund provides loans that offer financial support and flexibility, helps organizations implement healthier financial practices through training and resources, and offers strategic financial guidance. Our work helps nonprofits realize their own visions of sustainability, transformation, and success.
MAP for Nonprofits
MAP for Nonprofits unleashes the power of the nonprofit sector by increasing the capacity of individual nonprofit organizations to achieve their missions and by providing leadership for the effective management of the sector. MAP’s customized services build resilient organizations by strengthening governance and management, outsourced technology and accounting solutions, legal consultation, and navigating changes in organizational structure including program transfers, joint operating agreements, and mergers.
